An HIV diagnosis can lead to feelings of fear and loneliness. But for Susan Mull, life in Philadelphia brought opportunities for advocacy, and connecting with others was a great source of comfort.
When Susan moved to a rural area outside of Lancaster, PA, she didn’t expect the overwhelming feelings of isolation. Fed up with the lack of connection, distanced from advocacy opportunities and not working to her fullest capacity, Susan decided to pursue a Master of Divinity degree at Lancaster Theological Seminary.
Susan and her good friend La'Donna Boyens (both members of the Positive Women’s Network - USA) reunited to talk about how Susan’s education is helping her become a better advocate and a visionary leader.
